This article explains exactly what penalties exist on GameBoost, why they are given, and how to avoid them. Please read it fully before you start selling. Following these rules protects your wallet, your rank, and your account.
💶 How penalties work: A penalty is a fine. The amount is taken directly from your seller wallet balance. Some penalties are a fixed amount in EUR, others are a percentage of the order price.
1. Full penalty list
A Warning (€0.00) is not a fine, but it is recorded on your account. Ignoring warnings leads to real penalties.
2. What each penalty means (with examples)
🔴 Delivery penalties
Account not working The account you delivered cannot be logged into, is banned, is already sold, or is locked.
If the order is €100 or more → penalty is €10.00 fixed.
If the order is under €100 → penalty is €10% of the order price.
Example: You sell an account for €250. The buyer cannot log in. Penalty = €10.00 fixed. Example: You sell an account for €40. The buyer cannot log in. Penalty = €4.00 (10% of order price).
Account not as described: €5.00. The account works, but something is different from what you listed. Wrong rank, wrong skins, missing items, wrong region, wrong level, linked email/phone when you said "full access" etc.
Example: Your listing says "Unranked, no email linked." The account has an email linked. Penalty = €5.00.
Late delivery: 10% of order You did not deliver within the guaranteed delivery time you set on your listing.
Example: Your listing promises delivery in 30 minutes. You deliver after 2 hours without getting buyer approval first. Order was €80 → Penalty = €8.00.
Not instant delivery: €5.00 Your listing is marked as Instant Delivery but you did not actually deliver instantly (has 2FA, phone verification or anything similar).
Example: You listed the account as instant delivery. The buyer had to wait 20 minutes. Penalty = €5.00.
🟠 Communication penalties
Seller not responding: €5.00 You did not reply to the buyer within 12 hours after a problem was reported, or you went silent during an active order.
Non-professional: €10.00 Low-effort or careless communication. Examples: one-word replies when the buyer needs help, ignoring the buyer's questions, refusing to explain something.
Unprofessional behavior: €25.00 More serious than "non-professional." Examples: arguing with the buyer, blaming the buyer for your mistake, pressuring the buyer to close the order before checking the account, refusing to offer a replacement when clearly required.
Toxic: €50.00 Insults, swearing, threats, harassment, discrimination, or any abusive language toward the buyer or staff. This is the most expensive penalty and can also lead to suspension.
🟡 Listing penalties
False keywords / tags: €5.00 Using keywords or tags that do not match what you are selling, to appear in more searches.
Example: You list a cheap Fortnite account but add tags for skins that the account doesn’t have to appear in almost all search quaries. Penalty = €5.00.
Duplicate listing: €1.00 Posting the same offer more than once to appear higher or more often in search results. Per duplicate.
Copyrighted material: €5.00 Using official game artwork, logos, promotional images, or screenshots owned by the game developer/publisher in your listing images or profile picture. Use your own screenshots of the account instead.
🟣 Review & trust penalties
Negative review bribing: €10.00 Offering the buyer money, a discount, a free item, or anything else to remove, change, or avoid leaving a negative review. Also includes pressuring or threatening the buyer about their review.
⚪ Escalation
Warning: €0.00 A formal notice on your account. No money is taken, but it is a record that you broke a rule. Warnings are usually given for small first-time issues.
Repeated rule breaking: €15.00 Given when you receive the same penalty 2+ times. For example: if you get "Late delivery" three times, you will also receive a "Repeated rule breaking" penalty on top. Continuing to repeat violations can lead to suspension or a permanent ban.
3. How to avoid penalties
Do these things before you list your first offer. This prevents most penalties.
✅ Before you list
Check the account yourself right before listing. Log in with the exact credentials you will send the buyer. Confirm it is not banned, locked, or restricted.
Write the description accurately. List the real rank, level, skins, region, and whether the original email/phone is removable. If you are not sure about a detail, do not claim it.
Use your own screenshots of the account. Do not use images from the game's official website, wiki, or other sellers.
Set a realistic delivery time. If you cannot deliver in 5 minutes, do not use the Instant Delivery option. Choose 30 min / 1 hour / 6 hours depending on what you can actually do, 24/7.
Use correct keywords and tags: only ones that match the product. Do not add popular game names that are not related.
One listing per offer. Do not re-post the same account multiple times.
Make sure to check our Account Seller Guide & Seller Guide for complete information.
✅ While an order is active
Reply to the buyer within 12 hours, always. If you will be away, set your availability hours on your profile.
If you will be late, ask the buyer first. Message them, explain, and get approval before the deadline passes. This avoids the late delivery penalty.
If you agreed to help the customer within a said timeframe, respect it. Otherwise staff might refund the order.
Stay professional. Even if the buyer is rude, stay calm. Never insult, swear, or threaten. If a buyer is abusive, report it to GameBoost staff instead of replying emotionally.
Offer a replacement first if something is wrong with the account, before refunding to Store Credit.
All communication stays in GameBoost chat. Do not move to Discord, WhatsApp, email, etc.
✅ After the sale
Never ask the buyer to change or remove a review. Do not offer discounts, free accounts, or anything in exchange for reviews.
If the buyer leaves an unfair review, contact GameBoost support. Do not contact the buyer about it.
4. How penalties are paid
The penalty amount is deducted automatically from your seller wallet balance.
Penalties stay recorded on your account and can affect your rank and trust level.
5. Appeals
If you believe a penalty was given by mistake:
Open a ticket with GameBoost support.
Clearly explain what happened.
Attach evidence (screenshots, chat logs, order ID).
Do not argue with the buyer in the order chat: this can result in additional penalties (Non-professional, Unprofessional behavior, or Toxic).
Staff will review and respond. If the penalty was a mistake, it will be refunded to your wallet.
Quick summary
Follow the rules = keep your full earnings, build your rank, and get more sales.
Break them = lose money and risk suspension/ban.
